Improving health care access for all Ghanaians
Our Projects
- Improving the diagnosis, control, and treatment of patients with hypertension and/or diabetes to minimise life-threatening complications and increase the quality of life in rural Ghana.
- The project made significant contributions to the national efforts in the 40 implementing districts. Critical needs related to COVID-19 for communities in the 40 districts in 2021 were addressed through the project.
- Exploring value-based care solutions within the NHIS to maximize primary healthcare delivery. It specifically targets scaling up business models for remote and group care across Ghana.
- Expanding primary healthcare access in underserved, hard-to-reach areas through the direct construction, equipping, and operationalization of new CHPS compounds and local clinics
- Strengthening Community Health Management Committees and improving CHPS zone implementation. It empowers local leaders to use community scorecards for better maternal and child health.
Our Health Research Unit, established five years ago, aims to address knowledge gaps to improve health systems. We mine insights from amassed data, document good practices, and collaborate with external research institutions.
Our Institutional Review Board (IRB) was established in 2018 to provide ethical clearance for all research. In 2023, it saw a 1300% increase in protocols, approving 108 studies, including biomedical and social research.
Our annual reports provide full transparency on our network's performance. They detail key service delivery stats, like OPD visits, and track vital health indicators, such as our best-ever Maternal Mortality Ratio
