World Health Day Celebration
World Health Day is an annual global awareness day celebrated on April 7th, marking the anniversary of the World Health Organization’s (WHO).
Practical Protocol, Partner, and Event Management Training for Heads of Facilities
We have training on “Protocol Management” for facility managers within the CHAG. It is crucial for standardizing operational procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and improving patient safety protocols across member institutions.
Improving Healthcare Access for All Ghanaians
CRIB Project Impact
Executive Director of CHAG, Dr Peter Yeboah sheds light on the interventions of the CRIB project involving 40 districts under CHAG and the Ghana Health Service. The CRIB project is sponsored by the FCDO. The project made significant contributions to the national efforts in the 40 implementing districts. Critical needs related to COVID-19 for communities in the 40 districts in 2021 were addressed through the project. These needs include fears and anxiety, informational needs on COVID-19, COVID testing, Case Management, vaccine hesitancy, among others.
Our core functions are grouped into four key areas:

As a network, our work is focused on strengthening our members and representing their interests
Advocacy & Representation
We provide a collective voice for our members at the national level. We advocate for policy, act as a liaison to government ministries, and negotiate collaborations with public/private partners.
Capacity Building
We strengthen our network from within by offering technical assistance and training. We support our members with strategic planning, organizational development, and human resource management.
Resource Management
We are responsible for resource mobilization and administration for the network. This includes coordinating joint procurement for essential drugs and equipment supply and maintenance.
Monitoring and Evaluation
We drive improvement by measuring our impact. Our role includes robust monitoring and evaluation processes, as well as coordinating formal health policy guide to guide strategy and tracking.
Health Research
We aim to address key knowledge gaps to improve health systems and and service delivery. This involves systematic investigation, research, and testing to contribute to generalizable knowledge.
Communication Hub
We are a central hub for vital health information. We manage internal and external communications, ensuring our members and the public are informed of key health issues.
Special Programs
Beyond traditional healthcare services, we run specialized programs to ensure healthcare accessibility and quality.
SafeCare
Assessing, rating, and improving the standard of healthcare within CHAG facilities. It involves training internationally certified SafeCare assessors to elevate facilities to "Centres of Excellence".
Primary Health Care Units
Our PHC units are the frontline of its service delivery, providing accessible, affordable, and community-based healthcare in Ghana’s most underserved areas. They form the backbone of CHAG’s mission to extend quality care to vulnerable populations.
Med4All
It is a digital supply chain platform designed to connect CHAG's network of over 114 healthcare facilities directly with pre-qualified FDA-certified medicine suppliers.
